This site hosts both addinall.net (new) and addinall.org. The domain addinall.net only just became available. It used to run a site owned by Dr. Addinall at Manchester University. I'm almost sorry it did pop up as available as I used to enjoy looking around his well put together bioinformatics pages. As I am slack when it comes to looking after my own web pages, .org and .net will share this site at Smallpond I initially chose them because of the name, I thought it rather droll, in the last few years I have found them to be Ultra reliable, helpfull, and best of all, cheap! The support desk is in Brisbane, no joke! Real people! At some stage in the future, .net and .org will split. The .net content reflecting my work and interests, including research, whilst the .org will be used as initially intended, charity work, lobbying and political musings about the current state of the world (Australian focus of course ;-)
These pages have a bit of a military bent. I purchased my own domain shortly after the infamous Sept 11 with the intent of putting into circulation some thoughts, tactics and designs regarding the DEFENCE of Australia in regards to WMD and general weapons commonly or possibly used by "terrorists" (one man's freedom fighter...etc).
